Keurkloof Honey


All our honey originates from our farm Keurkloof, in the Elands River Valley (Eastern Cape.) There are two predominant vegetation types Albany thicket and Fynbos

We have  two distinct types of honey available at different times of the year, depending on what plants are flowering.

  • Fynbos honey is usually darker with a very unique and stronger taste mainly due to flowering aloes.
  • Albany thicket honey is lighter honey with a unique milder flavour.

      NOTE:
      • We unfortunately cannot control the bees production of light or dark honey, and therefore the colour and flavour of our honey may vary at different times of the year.
